Royal Enfield Motorcycle Trip to Rajasthan

Rajasthan is an incredible destination for Motorcycle touring where years old heritage monuments still in very good condition. Rajasthan is located in Western India & geography is very diverse in Rajasthan from Green aravali to Thar Desert in West. Rajasthan is a very popular destination for every tourist. Royal Bike Riders takes riders to the most famous tourist destination as Mandawa, Bikaner, Gajner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bundi, Jaipur, Agra & in the last capital Delhi. Every place is unique in terms of monuments, geography & food. People are very friendly & warm welcoming. DSC03665This year we organized a Rajasthan Motorcycle tour for our Australian riders. We are total 8 person including team leader with 1 pillion. All the riders & pillion were from Australia. We welcomed them with garland at Delhi International airport & later took them to Hotel. Later in the afternoon we had gone for Delhi sightseeing & visited famous monuments like Qutab Minar, Himayun Tomb, India Gate, President House & Parliament. Enjoyed our Dinner in a famous restaurant near India Gate.DSC03710After breakfast we leave for a midway called Rewari where we got motorcycles for our further tour on Motorbike. We started our riding through rural area of India with green fields of crops. First time we faced Indian traffic that was totally different from Australia. After riding few hours we reached our hotel in Mandawa. Our hotel was a castle before it was converted into heritage hotel. We saw old painting on merchant houses. We had nice beer party at roop top of the castle & later enjoyed local wedding ceremony & danced on the party.DSC03734Today we started our second day of motorcycle tour & we ride towards Bikaner. Today traffic was very less & we enjoyed our riding on Rajasthan road & we stopped couple of time for Tea break & lunch breaks. In the afternoon we reached in Bikaner & had gone to Junagarh Fort & City Palace for Lunch. Later we started our journey to Gajner Palace a hunting lodge converted into Heritage hotel. This Palace is located in a village near the lake where you can enjoy bird watching. In the Evening we enjoyed cultural programme like folk songs & dance with bonfire. Loved it so muchDSC03950Today we are going to desert city of Jaisalmer. This is the last big town on the India-Pakistan border. Town is small & beautiful most of the structure is made of yellow stone. Fort of so spectacular & worth visiting because of the people living inside fort. We have short walk through the fort & enjoyed taking photos of the area & temple.DSC04009Today after some more sightseeing in Jaisalmer we started our riding to Sand Dunes that is located 50 km away from Jaisalmer town. We reached in sand dune in the afternoon & have great view of the sand dunes. Today we enjoyed camel riding in the sand dunes & took our drinks to the sand & sit on the sand dunes & enjoyed sun set. There was a cultural dance & songs on the camp & we enjoyed lot. DSC03817Our nest destination is Jodhpur, a desert city in West of Rajasthan. We took a rural read from Jaisalmer & soon stoped for a local fair on the way. tasted some local food in the fair & later rode towards Jodhpur. It was along day of riding total 340 km so took 7-8 hrs to reach Jodhpur. Hotel was very good having spectacular view of Jodhpur fort. We took some beers on the roof top restaurant looking at fort.DSC04309Today we are riding towards Lake city of Udaipur, Udaipur is a very famous tourist destination with many lakes around Udaipur but famous are Lake Pichola & Fetah Sagar lake. On the way we enjoyed few km. of riding in the mountain in Aaravali hills of Rajasthan. We were welcomed with garland & welcome drink in the hotel & provided best room having lake view from the window. We enjoyed evening beers on the roof top swimming pool having view of lake & city palace. great day of riding in Rajasthan. We visited temple, city Palace & enjoyed boat ride in the Lake pichola.DSC04197Today we are riding towards a small village but first we stoped in a big fort called Chittorgarh. Later we continue towards village. We enjoyed our stay in a castle located in the village. Great day.DSC04354
