Day 1: ARRIVE DELHI

On arrival in Delhi, you will meet RBR representative at airport with warm welcome & he will assist you to the hotel for smooth check in. after long journeys have shower & rest. If you have morning flight then you can visit historical monuments of Old Delhi. We give some details about monuments below.

Qutab Minar- is a 73 meter high tower of victory which is built in 1193 by King Qutab ud-din Aibak after the defeat of Hindu Kingdom. It is believe that It was built with material obtained from demolishing 27 Hindu temples.

Humayun’s Tomb- is the one of the finest example of Mughal architecture in India.It was built in 1565 after the death of Humayun. Here garden is so beautiful & pathway. You will see many graves of the Mughal rulers.

Red Fort- was the royal residence for Mughal Emperors for more than 200 years. It has many palaces built by red stones & marble. Red fort walls built in 1638 by red stones are 33 meter high to design to keep out invaders. After all these world’s famous sightseeing come back to the hotel & overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 2: – DELHI - KALKA – SHIMLA (BY TRAIN & ride) (375 Km / about 7 hrs JOURNEY) Altitude- 2200 M

Early morning you will be transferred to New Delhi railway station to catch morning train to Kalka. On arrival in Kalka, you will enjoy short ride in small train for 30 km till barog. Then you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield Motorcycle first time. We ride to Shimla which is 60 km. Shimla is a hill station in north India in Shivalik range of Himalayas. Shimla lies on average elevation of 2200 M where weather remains very pleasant in summer that’s It is famous destination for summer time. Shimla had been summer capital of British Empire for few years. Shimla is known for its pleasant weather, scenic beauty of Himalayas, world heritage Kalka-Shimla railway line & much more. We enjoyed our ride to Shimla & arrive in Shimla. On arrival check into the hotel & later we go to Mall road to enjoy dinner.

DAY 3: Shimla – Kalpa (260 Km/ 6-7 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 2960 M

Kalpa has all the makings of an Indian Fairyland. At a height of 2960 meter in Himachal Pradesh, 260 kms ahead of Shimla on the NH 22 in Kinnaur District is this hideaway town. It is located at the base of the imposing Kinner Kailash ranges and Shivling peaks which rise up to 20,000 feet, towering above the clouds, kissing the heavens, encircling the area around. Kalpa itself is spread amidst chilgoza forests, apple plantations and the holy deodhars. It is reached after crossing the quaint town of Recong Peo, which has a hundred-year-old monastery. Overnight stay in Guest House or Camp.

DAY 4: : Kalpa – Tabo (160 Km/ 6-7 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 3280 M

The Tabo Gompa, or Buddhist monastery, is second in importance only to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet in the entire Himalayan region. It was developed as an advanced centre for learning by the great teacher and translator Lotsawa Rinchen Tsang Po, the king of western Himalayan Kingdom of Guge — also known as Lha Lama Yeshe O’d or Mahaguru Ratnabhadra. The Chos-Khor at Tabo remained one of the most important Buddhist establishments during the time of Lotsawa after the Chos-Khor at Tholing, the capital town of Guge. It is known that the Chos-Khor at Tabo commanded great importance, and hosted for a considerable period, many great scholars and translators in the Buddhist history studies. To date, it is the preserver of the Buddhist Legacy and is one of the most important Gompa of the entire Tibetan Buddhist world. Overnight stay in the guest house.

DAY 5: Tabo – Losar (120 Km/ 3-4 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 4080 M

After breakfast we start riding towards Losar & en route we visit Dhankar monastery. Today we have better road along with beautiful villages & we stop few times for tea/coffee break where don’t forget to take pictures of Himalayan villages & landscapes. Kee Gompa, on the way to Losar, is worth a visit. Kee is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district, India. Later we ride to Losar village where you stay for overnight. Losar is a small village on high altitudes & kwon for its beauty in Himalaya with green vegetations. Overnight stay in Guesthouse or Camp

Day 6: Losar - JISPA (165 kms / about 6 hrs ride) Altitude- 3200 M

Morning after breakfast start ride to Jispa (3200 m) over Kunzum pass (4590 M). Jispa is very beautiful village situated on the bank of Bhaga River & the surrounding peaks covered with mist and clouds creating an awesome view. On arrival in Jispa, check into the hotel Ibex and relax. Later explore the area by walk. Evening we have party time right on the bank of river. Overnight in Hotel at Jispa.

DAY 7: JISPA – Tso Kar Lake (220 Kms /about 6-7 hrs ride) Altitude- 4530 M

After breakfast we will start our riding & today in our Himalayan adventure we will experience some water crossing & water stream on the road. On the way to Tso Kar Lake, we will cross our second pass at Baralacha Pass at 4850 M. Later we will stop for Tea break at Bharatpur. After tea break you will see great Trans-Himalayan spectacular view at Sarchu where spectacular view always attracts you to click many photos of the Himalaya. It’s time to have fun on many hair pins curves at Gata Loops that is total 21 in numbers & after this Nakeela Pass come at 15547 feet. We continue our ride to more plains & hit the new paved road & take off- road upto Tso Kar Lake. Overnight stay at Camp.

DAY 8: Tso Kar Lake – LEH (150 km / about 4-5 hrs ride) Altitude- 3500 M

After breakfast at Tso Kar Lake, we start riding towards Leh. On this day you will enjoy off-road riding some on the sand. We will stop at pang for a Tea beak. Don’t forget to take pictures on Tanglang La pass (World’s Second Highest pass). After crossing this pass we will be riding down towards Leh & Enroute there are some villages along side road. Enroute enjoy the pretty village alongside of the Indus River. On arrival in Leh & check-into the hotel & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.

DAY 9: EXPLORE INDUS VALLEY (Local Sightseeing around Leh) or Rest Day Altitude- 3500 M

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the Indus valley, visiting Shey Palace- a ruined Castle, after that visit the 14th century Thikse monastery, it is an outstanding specimen of Ladakhi architecture. It is a glorious Buddhist monastery & a marvelous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Later visit the Hemis monastery- the richest monastery in Ladakh. In the last, visit the Royal Stok Palace & museum (residence of the royal family of Ladakh). Later back to hotel for overnight.

DAY 10: LEH - KHARDUNGLA PASS – Nubra Valley (140 KM/ 5-6 HRS RIDE) Altitude- 3200 M

After breakfast we ride about 39 Kms to Khardungla La Pass (the World’s Highest Motorable Road at a height of 5606 m), where we take a stop for Photography because the view from the top is spectacular & take a cup of coffee at World’s Highest point. Later ride to Nubra Valley that is another 95 Km from Khardungla pass. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 11: :Nubra Valley to Leh Via Wari La pass (200 Km/7-8 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 3500 M

Morning after breakfast, ride to Leh by crossing Wari La pass (17216 Feet). This road opened recently for tourist so we have new experience of riding of this new route & enjoyed spectacular view of the valley. This new route takes us to Sakti, a small village that is also junction for Leh & Pangong Lake with Nubra Valley. On arrival at Leh, check into the hotel & relax. Later explore the market of Leh & buy some souvenirs from Tibetan market. Overnight at hotel near to Leh main market.

DAY 12: LEH – TSOMORIRI Lake (Via Mahe Bridge) (230 KM/ 6 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 4522 M

After breakfast, drive to Tso Moriri Lake. Tsomoriri Lake is a high altitude Lake in Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4595 m above sea level. Enroute we will stop for tea & Lunch break & enjoy spectacular view of Himalaya. Most of the ride is on the Indus River that is symbol of Indus civilization in East World. On arrival in Tso Moriri, check into the camp & relax. Overnight in Tsomoriri.

DAY 13: TSOMORIRI Lake – Sarchu (220 Km/ 6 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 4300 M

After breakfast Proceed for Sarchu. Enroute have spectacular view of the Tso kar Lake. After riding many kilometers off-road, we will catch up the main road (Manali-Leh). This time is for Gata Loops, actually there are 21 slopes when we are coming to Sarchu from Tso Moriri Lake. Enroute we have break on a picturesque sight & take some photos of the landscape. On arrival in Sarchu, check into the camp. Overnight stay in Sarchu.

DAY 14: SARCHU - MANALI (Enroute visit Rohtang Pass) (210 Km/ 6 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 1950 M

After breakfast we ride our legendary Royal Enfield towards Manali. We have 1 more opportunity to cross muddy road at Rohtang pass & we cross same villages & towns which we have crossed on the way to Jispa on day 4. We stop for lunch at Keylong & later continue our ride to Manali. Arrive at Manali & check into the hotel. In the evening we all go for Mall road to enjoy our Dinner & beers, overnight stay in Manali.

DAY 15: MANALI – Dharamsala (6-7 Hrs Ride) (230 Km/ 6-7 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 1400 M

After breakfast we ride for Dharamsala & we stay close to Airport so that we can catch flight to Delhi next day. Enroute we visit famous Baijnath temple & Tea estate in Palampur. On arrival check into the hotel & our party start with drinks & delicious food.

DAY 16: : Dharamsala Airport– Delhi (1 ½ Hrs flight)

After breakfast we leave for Dharamsala airport for the flight to Delhi airport. On arrival in Delhi, you will be transffred to hotel for overnight stay. Today in the evening we have farewell dinner with lots of verity of Indian food & beers.

DAY 17: Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to New Delhi International airport for your flight to Home. If you have evening or night flight then you can go for shopping or for sightseeing in Old Delhi and New Delhi. Later you will be transferred to Airport.

Weather/Temperature

Our most Himalayan tours start and end in New Delhi where the temperature can go up to 38-42°C in July/August & September with humidity.

Temperature also varies in Himalayas & low altitude can get up to 30°C. However, they can fall below freezing at high altitudes in the mornings and during the nights.

Health, Fitness & Hygiene

Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in our tours.

IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes.

Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour specially High Himalayas over average riding on 4000 meters altitude.

Food & beverages
When travelling through India it is advised to carry your own drinking water that has been obtained from a reliable source (RO/UV water filter) or always drink branded mineral/packaged water.

Water for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should first be boiled or otherwise always use packed water.

Hygiene
Popular tourist restaurants and hotels will have clean facilities for you to use.

Communication

Most of the places we have communications in terms of internet (Wi-Fi), & calling facilities but still there are many places with no communications in high Himalayas in remote region but no worries talk to us we have good stories to tell you about riding, India & share yours with us.

When travelling to India you will need the following documents:
